Hi Geoff, I remember Scarborough Barracks and 15 Sqn RCT. Used to collect freight from 12 OFP (RAOC) in the old days and stay over in the Squadron with the guys for a night on the booze. I remember the old accommodation when it had the coke fired stoves for heating. A nice warm welcome on a cold night after after a visit to the NAAFI. Done a few trips there from 10 Regt 1970-76 after training at Achmer. One name that sticks out from the 15 Sqn nominal roll, Ralph Ponsford, did you ever meet him ? Other guys came to help out on the Op Banner tours but can't remember names, Had bags of laughs. All the best mate..Happy Days..

James Dawson Jed.Dawson@Blueyonder.co.uk London

Hi. I am looking for information about a relative (my mother's cousin) who served in the Royal Army Service Corps as a Staff Sergeant in 1945. He was called Alfred Henry Thompson, was from Yorkshire and was commonly known as Bunt. Sadly he was murdered in Germany in October 1945 and I wondered if any of his former comrades could provide me with more information about this event as the older generations of my family are now either passed away or too ill to remember any details. Thank you. James Dawson
